Know Your Rights

In collaboration with Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS), Massachusetts Advocates for Children (MAC) created the attached “Know Your Rights” document to support Boston Public School’s (BPS) Families. This resource is designed to ensure that families understand their rights around transportation special education services. This resource is accessible in English, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Simplified Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

If you are aware of any family who needs support understanding their rights or families who have been negatively impacted by transportation special education services, they can contact our free and multi-lingual Helpline. Families can call 617-357-8431 to receive information and guidance in their primary language, at no cost.
